Hello all and happy Friday! Not to start off on a too somber note, but in memory of September 11th, may we never forget those lives lost on that tragic day. Thank you to the brave firefighters and policemen everywhere, as well as those serving in the military that risk their lives fighting for our freedom. God bless.
Well, any exciting plans for the weekend? We’re just planning on laying low – probably hitting up the farmers market tomorrow, and then most likely renting a Redbox. I’ll tell ya, since our little bundle of joy arrived 5 months ago, we sure get wild on weekends! 😉
Can somebody though tell me how it’s possible that in 2 weeks, I’m going to have a 6 month old?! That’s halfway to 1 year. Seriously, time needs to slow down. I want him to stay this little forever! (Only sleeping through the night without waking due to teething…)
Gahhh, I just love him ❤
You know what? Since becoming a mama, especially at the beginning, I don’t always have time to prepare a meal, let alone have free time or enough hands to sit down and enjoy it. So that is where my new friend Ambronite comes in handy. I recently was contacted by the generous folks at Ambronite to give it a try, and with my hands full these days, I was excited to give this drinkable meal a try.
So what is it? Ambronite is an organic drinkable meal that you can take on the go. It’s so easy and convienent by coming in a pourable package, so all you have to do is add water (or your favorite juice), pour in the contents, and shake! Easy peasy.
Heyyyy there Max 🙂 Ambronite is a full meal replacement, so you don’t have to worry about having this shake and then think you’ll just be hungry for a “real” breakfast an hour later. This bad boy will keep you satisfied! Ambronite keeps your tummy full with 500 calories, 30 grams of protein, 13 grams of fiber, and only 5 grams of sugar. And check out the list of organic ingredients; all my favorite super foods!…
And check out those stellar nutritional stats!
I will say that at first the texture of the shake took some getting used to. It tasted a little bit more grainy than I expected. But perhaps I’m just super picky about texture when it comes to food. And as far as adding in water, I had to make sure it was super cold water. Not just cold tap water. It may just be my personal preference, but I thought the colder the drink, the better. I actually put a water bottle in the fridge overnight to let it get cold enough, then added in the bag. I’ll also say that I don’t think I would enjoy this on a daily basis, I like food too much. 😉 There is just something a bit more mentally satisfying about consuming whole foods in their natural state. But I have enjoyed this drinkable meal when I’m rushing in the morning to an appointment or when Theo is being extra clingy and I don’t have any free hands. Overall, I was pleasantly pleased with the product!
And good news for my readers, is that if you want to order now, you’ll get a 10% discount by using the code LIFEOFLANDOS10 at checkout. Not only that, but I’ve got 3 bags left of my sample, so I’m going to spread the love, and give one lucky reader a chance to try Ambronite for themselves! All you have to do is leave a comment below telling me what your favorite on-the-go snack is, and you’ll be entered to win. Open to US residents only. Contest will run until 11:59pm on September 16th. Winner will be emailed. Good luck, and have a great Friday and weekend!
